This Privacy Policy explains how the ashley warner website (ashleywarnerbooks.com) collects, uses, and protects your information. It applies to the public site and the embedded Sanity Studio surfaces only — third-party retailers linked from book pages operate under their own privacy policies.
What we collect
- Form submissions. If you contact us or sign up for the newsletter, we collect the information you submit (typically your name, email address, and message text).
- Analytics events. If you accept the cookie / analytics banner, we record page views, link clicks, and similar usage signals. Until you accept, nothing analytics-related loads.
- Technical logs. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, records request metadata (IP address, user agent, request path, timing) at the edge for security, abuse detection, and performance diagnostics. These logs are retained for a short window and never combined with form submissions to build a profile.
How we use it
- Reply to messages you send us.
- Deliver newsletter issues to subscribers who opted in.
- Understand site traffic, if and only if you accepted the analytics banner.
- Protect the site against abuse (spam, scraping, denial-of-service attempts).
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers we use to operate the site:
- Forms processing.Form submissions are routed through Intense Visions Inc.'s shared forms infrastructure (
forms.intensevisions.com) for delivery to us. - Email delivery. Newsletter delivery is handled by a third-party email service. We will identify the provider here when one is in place.
- Analytics. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics (GA4) processes event data on our behalf. Switching analytics providers earns an update to this policy and a re-prompt of the consent banner.
- Hosting. Cloudflare delivers the site and stores edge logs.
Your choices
- Click Decline on the cookie banner — no analytics will load.
- Send the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser — we honor it as an opt-out automatically and never show the banner.
- Use the Privacy choices link in the footer to revisit your decision at any time.
- Email us at the address below to request deletion of any information you have submitted.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Changes to this policy
Material changes to this policy will bump the effective date above and, where appropriate, re-prompt the cookie / analytics banner so you can review your choice against the updated terms.
